Today, I decided to make a garbanzo bean dip to go with an open bag of chips I want to use up. (I’ll be having mine in a whole grain tortilla, but the hubby likes his with chips sometimes)! 🙂
Anyway, I had a can of garbanzo beans that I added to a medium bowl. Then, I mashed these up as best as I was able to. Next, I stirred in 2 tablespoons of canola oil, a tablespoon of lemon juice, and 2 tablespoons of minced onion.
Personally, I always add salt to individual plates after I make something because I don’t want too much salt. So, for the hubby I will put some dip in a small bowl and then add a teensy bit of salt.. if he wants more he’ll add it.. don’t want to add too much.. since i won’t be taste testing that. ;p
This is a healthy, yummy, and inexpensive dip to have for a snack. 🙂 Hope you like it too!
The rest of my day consists of a reading some out of a textbook for class, going bowling for a family members b-day, and then relaxing at home again later on.

Another thing that I have been doing a lot of is drinking tons of water. I now carry around my water bottle and no longer am thirsty and caught without a drink. If you never carry your own water bottle, then you could be out and about running errands and purchase a sugary and unhealthy drink. This is very costly to your budget and to your health… I speak from experience. I really feel so much better after only drinking water and milk 99% of the time.
